Being Number 1!

I recently joined a Writing Community site called "Scriggler" and I must admit I am having a lot of fun. Initially I thought it a good place to generate some more interest for "To Die For" but after posting several pieces, including some poems, I have seen one such poem called Ripples shoot up to first place on the charts for the month.

I'm not normally a highly competitive person with things like this, but it has highly amused me. Just seeing my name at the top of the poetry chart after only a week was really cool. Equally, having "To Die For" at 8th (out of HUNDREDS) and being 5th on the "Author of the Month" are all good things. More encouraging is the fact there have been 1000s of views of my work, which is always good, especially when it comes to the novel, from a marketing point of view.

I think the months run 11th - 11th so let's see if I can hang onto that poem number 1 spot! Currently I have a range of Works on there - visit my profile here and take a look at my full poem Ripples
