Guardian

Dressed up in your armour,
ready for a fight,
your not just his sister,
but also his guarding knight.

Talking for your brother,
teaching him your ways,
helping him to learn more and more,
and giving him lots of praise.

Making sure he's alright,
and never feels alone,
helping him to feel calm,
I see the bond that's grown.

It brings a tear to the eye,
to see how much you care,
and I know when we are gone,
you will still be there.

So a big thank you my little knight,
for everything you do,
and even though he can't say it,
your brothers so proud of you.

Make Your Mark

As the final tear falls,
like an autumn scene,
life and death are not important,
It's what happens in between.

Your mark upon the world will stay,
you live through another heart,
and when the final grace is said,
that's when your life will start,

May your body rest so free,

as we rejoice your name ,
and as the final beat is played,
gone is all the pain.

Your body may now leave us,

but your soul will still remain,
and the memories will stay with us,
until we meet again.

Poetry by

Life

Take your sword and go to battle,
and do so with pride,
for it doesn't pay to find a wall,
behind which you want to hide.

Life is about the journey,
not where it will all end ,
so be a mother , son or daughter,
or even just a friend.

Goals in life are what you choose,
just don't hurt anyone,
for you want to be remembered with a warm heart,
when your finally gone.

Be full of bright ambition,
let yourself be free,
and be ready to jump on ,
to every possibility.

You could be an astronaut,
and sit upon the earth,
even sweep the market street,
or help women to give birth.

Whatever journey you take ,
I know you'll do it right,
from the moment the first sun rises,
to your very last goodnight.
